Carotel house rules

Below are the most important house rules that apply within our facilities. We ask that you respect and accept these rules for your and our safety.

Branches may have additional additional house rules.

General rules

In case of fire, remain calm. Report fire immediately to the front desk and/or call the Carotel in question.
In the event of a general fire alarm, leave the premises immediately. The gates can always be opened manually by pulling the cord and unlocking the gate with it.
Our establishments are built with a drive-in principle for cars, as a result, check-in is for ages over 18. If lower age is suspected, you will be contacted and asked for identification. The latter is obliged at that time to submit whether access will be denied.
There are cameras in various places in the parking lot according to law March 21, 2007. Anyone in a Carotel consents to being recorded. In case of emergencies and/or incidents, these recordings can be shown to third parties as supporting material and used internally for our access control. The guest also provides explicit consent for this internal use at check-in.
Carotel is not responsible for loss or theft of your belongings nor damage to your belongings, vehicle.
If you cause damage, please report it so that everything can be resolved amicably without having to contact insurance or police.
The management, the owner of this venue and/or persons working for the Carotel cannot be held liable for any injury and/or material or immaterial damage, which visitors to the venue may suffer.
All instructions from Carotel employees, related to the house rules, must be followed. Comments can be delivered to the management by mail. Failure to respect the house rules and/or disrespect Carotel staff is a basis for being denied access to Carotel’s.
Any kind of illegal, unlawful activity causes permanent refusal in any establishment. Possibly with legal consequences.
In case of emergencies follow instructions from the Carotel staff, evacuation plans hang in the rooms.
Outside of service hours, call the front desk only for emergencies and/or technical problems.
Vehicles from online rental platforms and/or garage & cab companies may be subject to additional access controls.

It is forbidden to:

Emergency exits to be used when there is no fire.
Property of the hotel to be taken outside the building. Willful damage or theft of hotel property may result in liability for repair and/or renewal costs. These must be reimbursed to regain access to the sites. Willful damage and/or theft will result in permanent denial of access.
Consuming, using, trafficking or carrying narcotics (this includes whipped cream cartridges / nitrous oxide)
Cause a nuisance to another person in or around the hotel including through loud music, obnoxious behavior or noise of any kind.
To occupy the room with more than the number of people for which reservations have been made.
To smoke in the room. If we find that there is still smoking in the room we are forced to charge €75.00 cleaning fee. If the fire alarm goes off due to smoking in the room, we will charge you the fire department’s call-out fee of €300.00.
Certain decorations to use in the room such as confetti, for example. You can inquire at our reception about what decoration is or is not allowed.
Please light candles/incense in the rooms due to the fire alarm and fire hazard. (The security system is activated immediately).
Mask, cover the fire & smoke detector. If detected, permanent refusal will follow in all establishments.
Pets to be brought into the establishments.
Multiple visitors to be received in the room. Maximum 2 persons per room.
Several times during a stay to open and close the gate.

In all cases not covered by these regulations, Carotel management will decide.
